Stödkampanjen nådde sitt mål – målet att samla ihop 60 000 dollar till Bill Laswell överträffades.
Som vi skrev i början av juni, hade basisten och producenten Laswell hamnat i ekonomisk knipa främst genom uteblivna konsertinkomster pga covid-19.
Och riskerade att förlora sin inspelningsstudio. Med de insamlade pengarna är nu studion räddad.
Han och hans partner/manager Yoko Yamabe kan nu fokusera på att hitta ett annat boende i New York.

At this moment, we are trying to find a place to move.
Studio is still there. just amazing.
We managed to get out of the worst case scenario…
We would like to send thank you to every one of you.

Bill and his music will keep going on because of you.
We are now concentrating on finding the place. It’s really difficult actually….
the rental law changed, and rents are going up crazy.
Bill is also trying to get better with his health conditions.
A lot of things need to be taken care of but we thinkIt’s going in the right direction..
